LETTER: Students demand a re-vote

To the editor:

    There are very strong opinions on both sides of this proposed increase in athletics fees. I am not writing to sway you in either direction. Instead, I demand a re-vote on the athletics fee increase. Only 30 percent of the student body voted on an issue that affects every single student to the tune of $130. This vote was poorly advertised, and the date of the vote was seemingly set for a completely arbitrary and random two days. I’m all for doing what the majority of students want to do, but we have yet to hear from the majority of students. Please approve the re-vote, thank you.
