LETTER: Thanks to dollar days helpers

Dear Editor,

Alpha Chi Omega and the Utah State University Women’s Center would like to thank the following for their support of Dollar Days.

Ted Miller of Miller’s Beef, Monte Lucherini of L&H Packing Co., Bruce Wheelwright of Wonder Bread, Kent Souter of Pepsi, Janet Osborne, Gary Chambers, Shane Sessions, Andy Dilly, Celestial Star Bybee, Tiffany Evans and the cheerleaders and athletes for being dunked in the dunk tank and Kevin Dustin, Kim Torman, Nicole Jones and Janet Osborne for helping to recruit these “celebrity dunkees.”

The following teams who participated in the flag football tournament: Pi Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Phi, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, Kappa Delta, the Lacrosse team, the Rugby team, Shopko and Chi Omega and all those who so generously donated prizes.

A special thanks to Landon Ruka, Marc Larsen, Scott Ramage, BJ Sorenson, Carole Hill, Eric Larsen, Scott Kohler and Alan Crookston for serving as referees. Thanks also to Jessica Pace, Sean Stoker, Beth Hymas, Hiram Anderson, Allen Lundgreen, Steve Thompson, Carrie Meacham, Becky Hardcastle, the Logan City Fire Dept., VFX, Dan Boatwright, Jason Smurfway, Aaron Melder, Justin Ego, Sigma Nu, all those who purchased “dunking insurance” and everyone else who provided their support and resources to make Dollar Days such a big success.
