LETTER: The real facts of Iraq war LETTER: The reals facts about the Iraq war
Editor,
(In response to Letters, Sept. 3), Twelve-thousand civialians killed? By whom? How many of these were killed by the terrorists in Iraq? Do you have any idea what it means or did you just pull it off of an antiwar Web site?
According to www.csmonitor.com, “During the Anfal campaign, rights groups say more than 100,000 men disappeared, 4,000 villages were destroyed, and 60 more villages were subject to chemical weapons attack.”
That was just a part of the bloody reign of terror of Saddam.
Could you consider that American troops are laying down their lives to save the lives of the people of Iraq? I would personally rather give my life to liberate then to live in a state of constant terror under a mad dictator.
