Letter to the Editor: Offensive images are a part of life everywhere

Dear Editor,

In response to Merlyn Hall’s article on the “offensive” Persian Peacock ad, I’d like to tell her that advertisements like that are for everybody but nuns. If this bothers her, then she shouldn’t ever leave Utah. Did you live in Provo growing up or what?! Can you even handle Salt Lake City? Cause if you can’t then don’t even go to Vegas. I agree there is a line, but it is a long way from the animated pinup figure of Persian Peacock.

Offensive materials are everywhere in life and I’m sorry to say it’s a fact of life and you just have to deal with it. Adam and Eve were naked and they were OK with it.
