Letter to the Editor: Reader also had their posters removed

Editor,

When I read Heather Hunsaker’s letter about her “Fat Pig” posters being removed from the Ray B. West (aka the English building), I couldn’t help but laugh (in irony, of course). While I have no idea who removed those posters, I can sympathize. Last week, the USU chapter of the Society of Technical Communicators (STC) held an Alumni Panel that two of my classmates worked very hard to put together. We of course advertized with posters near high-traffic doorways (among other things). However, two days before the panel, the most visible posters were replaced by advertisements for none other than Mardi Gras. How fair was that?
