COVID-19-UST

Near the end of the semester, Logan Main still averaging over a dozen cases daily

As of Dec. 3, Utah State University has 243 active cases of COVID-19 in the USU community.

216 of those cases are from the Logan Main campus.

The number of cases appear to be decreasing again; just two weeks ago, there were over 400 positive cases at USU.

However, the number of positive Coronavirus cases added each day has been 12 or greater since Nov. 17. In fact, 41 positive cases were added today to bring the Logan Main total to 216.

USU’s decision to move all classes online for the remainder of the semester is expected to help with case totals.

There are currently 43 staff members who have tested positive for COVID, along with eight faculty members and 192 students.
