The Utah State University Bookstore has a new look. Rather than having the textbooks here, there and everywhere, the Bookstore has rearranged its shelves so that all of the textbooks are in one half of the store while the school and art supplies are found in the other half. Not only does it look better, it is substantially more functional.

There is no more wondering where books are.

Shelves are clearly marked making it easy for students to find their courses’ required texts – which is especially valuable in the first-week rush.

Additionally, USU Bookstore employees seem to be extremely helpful and friendly this semester.

Despite hoards of angry students, Bookstore employees have been greeting each customer with a smile and helpful information.

Employees with boxes of candy circulate the long lines, offering a free treat to bored students.

It’s so easy at this time of the semester to take frustrations out on each other. Nobody wants to be buying expensive textbooks. But the USU Bookstore seems to be doing everything it can to make this tense time as pleasant as possible.
