OUR VIEW: It’s almost time to count the days

There is lots of stress to go around these days. War progresses around the world. The first Utahn was killed in the war in Iraq. Protesters are in the streets. There are tests, projects and theses. And the most recent Academy Awards show had one of the lowest ratings ever.

Now if that isn’t enough of the bad to think about, here is something Utah State University students can chew on.

Only one more month.

Already? Yes, already.

After months of work, rehearsing and studying, it’s all about to pay off. Some will graduate with a sigh of relief. Some will simply start summer vacation with a similar-sounding sigh. The basic message is be of good cheer. The weather will warm. The days will be longer. Not too much time will pass before First Dam becomes a prime study spot and then not a study spot at all.

The old saying is, “Time waits for no man.” It’s true. No matter what, time marches on. Students should make it their friend and not their enemy for the next 34 days.
