Friday, Feb. 16
• An individual reported that some red material had been placed on the yellow sculpture between the Biology and Natural Resources and Agriculture Science buildings.
• An individual reported losing a parking permit that had been set on the roof of a car.
• Police responded to a dog that had been run over in the trailer court. The animal was treated by a passing veterinarian and then transported to an animal clinic for further examination.
Saturday, Feb. 17
• Police responded to Aggie Village on the report of an individual who was intoxicated and was possibly involved in a civil dispute. Upon arrival, officers found the person passed out in his apartment. His wife was warned that future disturbances could result in arrest.
• Police assisted Logan City Police on a fight in progress call at Beno’s dance club.
• An individual reported that his tire went flat for no reason and was concerned about criminal mischief.
Monday, Feb. 19
• Police received a call of a white male individual in his 30s with a dark beard and a long black coat chasing a female student in the area of Snow Hall. Officers searched the area but did not locate the individual.
Tuesday, Feb. 20
• Police responded to a report of a traffic accident in the West Stadium parking lot. One vehicle broadsided another causing an estimated $5,000 total damage but no injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
• Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run traffic accident in the UCB parking lot causing approximately $200 damage. A witness was able to give police a license number of the vehicle that left the scene.
• A fire extinguisher was stolen from the Hub in the TSC.
Wednesday, Feb. 21
• A step ladder and fiber optic equipment were reported stolen from a manhole by the Technology building.
Thursday, Feb. 22
• Police took a report of an auto burglary in the courtyard area of the Veterinary Science building. A Panasonic portable CD player and a CD were taken from a Nissan Pathfinder between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
• Several computers on campus were hacked into by an unknown assailant. At this time there does not appear to be any damage caused.
