March 29, 2002

Police are investigating an incident involving questionable pictures taken of a minor.

Police responded to a smoke report in the Engineering Laboratory Building. The smell was caused by a burned light ballast. The ballast was removed by Facilites’ electricians and will be replaced.

March 31, 2002

An individual called police to report his friend’s car window had been broken. It is unclear at this point when the damage happened or if anything is missing from the vehicle.

April 1, 2002

Police responded to the ceramics laboratory on a report of an individual who walked into a ceramics class and caused a disturbance. The individual was cited for disrupting a school activity.

April 2, 2002

The North Park Police Department received a report of a drunk and disorderly male harassing customers near the north entrance of Wal-Mart. He had a bottle of Jack Daniel’s.

An individual called Logan police to report four or five individuals were knocking on his door wanting him to come out and fight.

A woman reported to Logan police her swing set and some other toys were stolen while she was moving.

Logan police reported a female had a run-in with someone who swore at her, flipped the bird and kicked her car, denting it. She was too upset to talk. Police responded to a criminal mischief call in progress. The complainant said she had observed damage being done to a vehicle. Police are investigating the incident.

The Cache County Sheriff’s Office received a report of smashed bird feeders at a residence in River Heights.

April 3, 2002

Police responded to Mountain View Tower on the complaint of a subject messing up a resident’s room. The subject left before police arrived and there was no damage done to the room. No further action was taken.

Police assisted a bus driver who high-centered his bus in the Romney Stadium parking lot. The Cache County School District was called to move the bus.

Police responded to the Quad on a complaint of a band playing there and disrupting classes. The band quit playing shortly after police arrived.

April 4, 2002

A Logan resident reported to police her apartment was broken into and there was possibly a snake in her drawer.

A Logan resident complained to police a cream-colored car pulled into a driveway across the street and then backed out in a hurry, running over a Port-a-Potty.

Police were called to assist the Cache County Sheriff’s Office with two grenades located in a residence in Benson. The devices were detonated.
