* USU Police responded to the Aggie Village on a complaint of car lights flashing in the windows of an apartment. The owner was contacted and the light were turned off and the vehicle was moved.

* An individual came into the Public Safety Office to file a credit card fraudreport. The individual stated that a representative from Florida Passport charged an unauthorized sum of money to her credit card. Police are investigating at this time.

* Police received a delayed report of a minor traffic accident that occurred inthe east Nutrition and Food Sciences parking lot. A car pulling into a parkingstall struck an abruptly opened door of a parked vehicle in the next stall. Onedriver was warned for opening a vehicle door at an unsafe time.

* USU Police responded to the Townhouses for a telephone offense. A resident in one of the USU Townhouses has been getting abusive and harassing phone calls from unknown individuals, possibly meant for the previous tenant. Police are still investigating.

* Police responded to the softball field on a report of some disorderly individuals. The officers met with the individuals and talked to them about their behavior. The individuals agreed to calm down. No further action was taken.

* USU Police responded to the Children’s House area on a report of two unattended dogs. On arrival the animals were no longer there, however, police determined the owner information and made contact with them.

* USU Police responded to the Public Safety Office to take a report of a stolenmotorcycle permit. The complainant had been parked in the Ag Science cycle parking lot and had his motorcycle permit stolen. Police suggested analternative place to mount the sticker.

Sunday, April 13, 2005

* Police responded to a fire alarm in Mountain View Tower. A student activated the alarm by spraying body deodorant on a bee that was next to the smoke detector. The alarm was silenced and reset without any further problems.

* Police responded within three minutes to a wallet that was stolen out of a room in Richards Hall. Police made contact with the complainant and a report was filed. One student was arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail on theft of a financial transaction card and unlawful use of the card.
