Registration for Skating and Hockey Programs is underway

The Eccles Ice Center is now accepting registration for July hockey and figure skating programs. These programs are available for all ages and abilities and include skate rentals. Rental hockey equipment is also available for required programs. BEGINNING FIGURE SKATING CLINICJuly 10-14 9:15-11:15 a.m. $59 per skater ($5 off for additional family members)For the beginning figure skater with aspirations to improve. Basic skating skills such as edges, turns, beginning extension moves, beginning spins and jumps. This clinic also includes off-ice conditioning. LEARN TO SKATEJuly 11-August 5: 4 week session for $35 including badge and skate rental. All ages, all abilities. Tuesday, Thursday (4:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m. or 5:15 p.m.) or Sat (3:45 p.m. or 4:15 p.m.). Hockey classes available Tuesday and Thursday. Register 24 hours or more in advance to avoid a $5 late fee. A 10 % discount is available for additional family members who register. GEAR UP! PLAY HOCKEY$5 per session. Saturday, July 8 and Aug. 12, 4:45 – 5:45 p.m. Experience the thrill of hockey in full gear. Pads, helmets, sticks and pucks are included. HOCKEY 101July 15-Aug. 5: Adult and Youth, ages 5 and older: 4:45-5:45 p.m. Women ages 15 through Adult: 6-7 p.m.: $35 per participant or drop in for $9.00 per session. Students will learn fundamentals of the game of hockey, including basic techniques with some scrimmaging. Rental equipment is available. Skating experience is a plus.
