ROTC orientation gets cadets in the air

The USU ROTC held a flight orientation for freshman students and first-year cadets. During the training, cadets were taught about safety issues, such as noise, wind, loose objects, safety harnesses and visual signals. “We do this to give people a chance to experience what we do in the army,” said Major Rand Curtis. The helicopters are Blackhawk UH60 from the 211th Aviation Regiment of the Utah Army National Guard.
