Student hit by Aggie Shuttle in good condition
The student hit by a campus shuttle Thursday afternoon has been released from the hospital and is in good condition.
Campus police reported to a call from the Parking and Transportation office that an Aggie Shuttle had hit a student. The responding police officer, Officer Travis Dunn, called Logan City Police who arrived at 12:55 p.m., said Capt. Jeff Curtis of the Logan City Police Department.
The bus had been turning right at the intersection of 800 East and 1000 North, he said, and was unable to stop after seeing the female student on the crosswalk. The driver of the bus was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian and the student was transported to Logan Regional Hospital, he said. She was later released.
