Student’s eyes known to change color

Holly Adams

Kasi Anderson

sophomore, dietetics

Hometown: Vernal, Utah

Favorite Color: Pink

Utah Statesman: Why did you come to Utah State University?

Anderson: They offered me the best scholarship.

US: What do you like about it here?

Anderson: I really like Logan – not the snow. It’s a nice community. I have family here.

US: What don’t you like?

Anderson: Wind in the morning. It’s terrible.

US: What is your favorite thing to do?

Anderson: Hanging out with friends. Outdoor stuff, and sports.

US: What would you do with an unlimited supply of monkeys?

Anderson: I like stuffed monkey animals, but I don’t know what I would do with an unlimited supply of live ones. Probably take them to the zoo.

US: What do you do on the weekends?

Anderson: Sleep in – get caught up on my sleep and whatever people around me are doing. Just hang out. I should pick up skiing – maybe I’d like the snow a little more.

US: What’s the most unique thing about you?

Anderson: I have dimples. A lot of people have dimples though. My favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids.

US: What’s your favorite food?

Anderson: Anything sweet. That’s great for my major. I like Chinese and Mexican, too.

US: Are you a True Aggie?

Anderson: No, not yet.

US: Do you like the new library?

Anderson: I really like it. The old side still smells like fish, so I have to stay on the new side.

US: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Anderson: Europe, not sure where. I was going to go this summer, but it didn’t work out. I’d go see the sights.

US: What would you do if you won the lottery?

Anderson: That’s incomprehensible – I’d probably end up blowing it on something I didn’t need. Give some to charity – a good cause. Then give some to my friends if they asked nicely.

US: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Anderson: Generally, I’m not too crazy. My roommate is a tumbler, so we put on her leotards and run around.

US: Are you a dancer?

Anderson: I used to for 13 years. I quit to play soccer in high school.

US: What’s your favorite sport?

Anderson: I still like to play soccer best. I don’t as much now. There’s too much to do other than play soccer.

US: What are you doing on Valentine’s Day?

Anderson: I have to work.

US: What do you want to be when you grow up?

Anderson: A dietician, a mom and amazing.

US: What are three words the describe you?

Anderson: Amazing, fun, and quiet – kind of.

US: What color are your eyes?

Anderson: Hazel, green, and brown. They change. It’s not nice brown either, it’s dead grass brown.

US: What do you think about the Persian Peacock ad controversy?

Anderson: I don’t particularly enjoy that ad – it would be better without it – but it’s freedom of the press. I don’t remember what it said. I thought it was a little weird – no big deal, though. I just turned the page.

US: What’s the last movie you saw in the theater?

Anderson: Chicken Little, for my birthday.

US: When was your birthday?

Anderson: November. It’s been a while.
