The Statesman in General
Dear Editor;
I very much enjoy receiving the Utah Statesman via e-mail. It not only keeps me informed about USU happenings, but I can watch up-and-coming young journalists at work.
My only concern however, is an apparent lack of proof reading of articles. Grammar and spelling seem to be the greatest challenges.
“Spell check” is great, but nothing beats a hands-on editor or proof reader.
Example in the current issue: “Spell check” approved “site seeing” instead of the correct “sight seeing” in the Featherstone article on Chicago.
Keep up the investigative and creative spirit as good journalists.
