* Department of Music -2003 Summer Music Clinic. Chase Fine Arts Center, various venues. Contact Edie Despain, (435) 797-3730 or see http://www.usu.edu/music/. This music camp for junior high/middle school and high school students includes daytime study, concerts and evening activities. Sergio Bernal will work with orchestra students. James Michael Bankhead, former conductor of the Air Force Band and now head of the music department at Chico State, will work with band students. Steve Call, BYU faculty member will conduct the jazz band.

June 22

* Department of Music -Alumni Band Concert. 7 p.m., Kent Concert Hall, Chase Fine Arts Center. Free. Graduates and friends of Utah State University make up this summer group that presents indoor and outdoor concerts. This concert is held in conjunction with the Utah State Summer Music Clinic.
