Upcoming Logan City Council Elections

On Monday, Oct. 30 at noon, The Utah Statesman is holding an elections town hall for the upcoming Logan City Council elections. The event, which gives students the opportunity to hear from each candidate, will take place on the TSC Hub Stage. It will also be broadcast on Aggie Radio 92.3 KBLU-LP and through Aggiecast. 

This year, six candidates are on the ballot for the three open seats on the council. The candidates are Joe Needham, Katie Lee-Koven, Mark Anderson, Erin Bennet, Jeannie Simmonds and Mike Johnson. Simmonds and Anderson are both incumbents.  

Election Day is Nov. 21, and a voting center will be open on that day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cache County Event Center, located at 490 S. 500 W., in rooms 2 and 3. Mail-in ballots will be sent out to registered voters beginning Oct. 31. These ballots can be returned by mail or in person at the Cache County Clerk’s Office.
