USU games to be broadcast on KCSG TV this year

 Utah State University Director of Athletics Scott Barnes announced Thursday that USU Athletics will have a new home beginning this fall as select football and basketball gameswill be televised live on KCSG Television in cooperation with Cis-Com Productions.

 

In conjunction with Aggie Sports Properties, the school’s Athletics multimedia rights holder, Utah State is entering its third year of a four-year contract with Cis-Com Productions to televise numerous football and basketball gameslive.

 

During the 2011-12 academic year, KCSG TV will broadcast five Aggie football games and six basketball games.  Its first football broadcast will be on Saturday, Sept. 24 when USU hosts Colorado State at 6 p.m.  Other football games to betelevised live on KCSG include home contests against Wyoming (10/8), San Jose State (11/12) and Nevada (11/26), and a road game at New Mexico State (12/3).

 

“Our new partnership with KCSG Television will provide Aggie fans everywhere an enhanced experience and more reliable telecast,” said Barnes.  “KCSG is readily available via a number ofavenues allowing us to continue our connection with Aggie fans and building the Aggie Athletic Brand.”

 

Of the six basketball games scheduled to be televised, five will feature the defending four-time Western Athletic Conference regular season champions including its season-opener at home against in-state rival Brigham Young onFriday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.  Other men’s games on the schedule include home contests against Southern Utah (11/19), Denver (11/30) and Utah Valley (12/6), and road games against Weber State (11/15) and Idaho State (11/26).

 

Its sixth basketball broadcast will feature the Aggie women hosting in-state rival Brigham Young on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m.
