USU Gymnastics Hosting Summer Camp
Utah State gymnastics is hosting a girls gymnastics summer camp, June 26-30.
Gymnasts from throughout the region will participate in this week-long intensive camp designed to increase their skills and abilities. USU’s popular summer camp offers gymnasts the individualized coaching they need to advance their gymnastics skills. USU’s experienced coaching staff will work with gymnasts to assess their current level, and provide them with the attention they need to practice and perform elements in accordance with the new Junior Olympic compulsories and optional skills.
Gymnastics campers will participate in hours of gymnastics coaching and practice. However, USU coaches know a successful camp must allow gymnasts some time to relax and participate in activities. At the USU Gymnastics Camp, gymnasts will participate in daily activities including swimming, team-building games and have an opportunity to try to reach the top of USU’s 24-foot high climbing wall.
Two different packages are available: Day Camper and Overnight Camper.
The Day Camper registration fee includes daily instruction, and a snack lunch Monday – Friday. Day Campers may participate in the evening activities; however, they must provide their own dinner or register for the Day Camper Dinner Package, which includes four evening meals and the evening activities.
The Day Camper Dinner Package is a convenient and affordable option that allows the Day Camper to stay on for the evening meals and activities. This package includes four evening meals and the evening activities. This package may only be combined with the Day Camper Package.
The Overnight Camper registration fee includes daily instruction, four nights of chaperoned lodging in the Utah State University residence hall, 10 meals beginning with breakfast on Monday, June 27 and ending with breakfast on Thursday, June 30 and evening activities.
Day camp costs $330 and overnight is $440 if registered by June 1. Cost is $355 for day camp and $465 for overnight from June 2 – June 25.
A $175 non-refundable deposit is required with the completed registration form. The balance is due at registration/check-in on June 1. Minimum payment of $175.00 is due with registration.
Overnight campers must be at least eight years of age. Participants under the age of eight years must be accompanied by an adult.
