Following a disappointing loss to No. 3 University of Utah, 197.125-194.325, Tuesday night in Salt Lake, the USU gymnastics team will travel to Colorado Saturday to take on No. 21 University of Denver.

A four-day break after the competition at Utah gives USU a chance to reflect but move on and prepare for the upcoming meet.

“We are just going to keep going out there and battling,” said coach Ray Corn. “Battling the equipment, battling all of the circumstances and hopefully we will be successful.”

Coming off a recent loss to Arizona in a tri-meet with Oregon State University Friday, the Pioneers currently posses a 5-3 record on the season.

All-American Jenny Ebdon, who came in with an all-around performance of 39.175, helped her team reach its season high of 194.825 at the tri-meet.

The last time the two teams met, Denver outscored USU 195.450-192.950 at the 2000 NCAA Regionals. The Aggies hold an all-time 19-9 advantage over the Pioneers.

The Aggies will return home Feb. 17 to host Missouri in the Spectrum.
