USU purchases 550 acres of land
Utah State University’s Board of Trustees agreed to purchase 550 acres at Cache Junction.
In President Kermit L. Hall’s speech at the dedication of the new Calibration and Optical Research Laboratory on Friday, he said this new land could be used for the Innovation Campus and possibly for the Biotechnology and Genomics Research Center, which was announced earlier this fall.
“This will allow the land across the street to the east to be open for significant development,” Hall said.
