USU reports 21 new COVID-19 related cases on Labor Day
Utah State University added 21 new COVID-19 related cases to its case count Labor Day, bringing the number of active cases at USU to 65.
Since USU began its semester on Aug. 31, it has seen an increase of 49 cases.
Over the weekend, at least 33 off-campus students self-reported symptoms of coronavirus. One staff member also reported symptoms.
Currently, USU has six active cases reported from students on-campus, 54 from students off-campus, one from a faculty member and four from staff members.
USU is encouraging anyone with symptoms related to COVID-19 to self-report using USU’s COVID-19 questionnaire.
