Utah State Golfer Earns Academic All-District Honors

Utah State golfer Brandon Broadhead has been named to theCollege Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) AcademicAll-District VIII at-large second-team it was announced on Thursday.

Broadhead, a sophomore from Brigham City, Utah, has a cumulative 3.90grade-point average in accounting.

During the 2006-07 season, Broadhead played in nine tournaments for UtahState and shot a season-low round of 73 at the Pat Hicks Classic hosted bySouthern Utah.

District VIII is made up of schools from Arizona, California, Hawai’i,Oregon, Utah and Washington.
