Volleyball smashes Louisiana Tech
The Utah State volleyball team won its second straight home game with a straight-set victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Seniors Josselyn White and Shay Sorensen finished with 13 and 12 kills respectively as the Aggies improved to 8-0 all-time at home against the Lady Techsters.
The win set a school record for conference victories in a season for the Aggies at 12, breaking the previous record of 11 done twice previously.
It was the Techsters’ 27th straight loss in WAC play, and 14th straight overall this season.
The Aggies improved to 16-7 overall and 12-2 in WAC play with the win, and will hit the road for a three-game stretch starting with the University of Denver on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
