Poulter-Wilkinson
Thad and Sue Poulter of Garland announce the marriage of their daughter Laura to Shaun B. Wilkinson, son of Scott and Beverly Wilkinson of Smithfield. The couple will be married on Friday, Sept. 21, 2001.
A reception will be held that evening in the Beaver Dam Church, 16025 North Beaver Dam Road from 6 to 8:30 p.m. All friends and family are invited.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Bear River High School and LDS seminary. She is attending USU and will graduate this December in business.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Sky View High School and is employed at Herff Jones.
Shaun and Laura are registered at Smithfield Implement and Don’s Furniture in Tremonton.
Dodgen-Carpenter
Don and Candis Dodgen of Logan, Utah, announce the marriage of their daughter Danielle Dodgen to Jerad Robert Carpenter, son of Robert Carpenter and Linda Carpenter.
The couple will be married Sept. 15, 2001, in the Old Rock Church, 10 S. Main, Providence. A reception will be from 5 to 7 that evening at the same location. Friends and relatives are invited.
The bride is a senior at Utah State University, majoring in sociology.
The groom attends USU, majoring in flight technology.
Showers were given by the invoicing department at ICON Health & Fitness and the bride’s families.
They are registered at Kitchen Kneads and Fred Meyer. The couple will
reside in Logan until school is complete. They wish to thank friends and family for their support.
Gleason-Hollingsworth
Jennifer Suzanne Gleason and Burke Brent Hollingsworth are pleased to announce their marriage on Sept. 8, 2001 in the Logan LDS Temple. A reception and dance will be held in their honor that evening from 6 until 9:30 at the Bridgerland Park Center, 920 N. 200 West, Logan.
Jennifer is the daughter of Patricia Larsen of Hyrum and Richard and Liza Gleason of Wellsville. She is a 1999 graduate of Mountain Crest High School where she was involved in the Caprielle Dance/Drill Team, All-State Drill Team, WAMA and A Capella choir. She is attending USU majoring in pre-med and is a member of the Aggiette Dance/Drill Team. She is employed at Logan Nursing and Rehab.
Burke is the son of Brent and Clixie Hollingsworth of Bear River City. He graduated from Box Elder High School where he was active in concert choir, football, basketball and baseball. Burke then served two years in the Texas, Corpus Christi LDS Mission. He is now finishing up his education at USU in the
secondary education Program. He is a member of the Cheer/Stunt Squad for USU and is employed at Maddox Ranch House in Perry.
Showers were given by Tana, Katherine, and Clixie Hollingsworth, Lindsey Preece, and Heather Gleason.
Jennifer and Burke are registered at Kitchen Kneads and Fred Meyer.
After a honeymoon on a cruise to Mexico, the couple plans to live in Logan while they continue their educations.
