MA-Football v Air Force-3

We’re the Best – ESPN Said So

Usually the ocean is blue and only tinted white by foam. However, in Logan last Saturday night the Aggie student section switched the colors in a white-out game, proving that there can indeed be a sea of white but only in Maverik Stadium, and accentuated with Aggie blue.

In Utah State’s matchup with Air Force last week, the Hurd showed up and was so loud that we made the nation forget we weren’t the Aggies who invented the 12th man moniker. We roared as one, threw cornstarch as one, and proved once again that we’re among the top student sections in the nation. Our team not only won the game, but we high-spirited students were also selected by ESPN and its committee of experts as the Live Más Student Section of the Week. This distinction means we’re firmly in the mix to win the entire contest and be crowned the first ever Live Más Student Section of the Year. As our team wins, we can win, too, simply by being the amazing fans we always are, officially ending the debate as to which student section, not just in Utah, but in the nation has the most raucous students around.

Our next home game is against UNLV on October 13th and is another chance for us Aggie faithful to solidify ourselves as the best crowd in the nation.

Here are some of the best photos and moments from the game as captured by USU students:
