What your favorite sitcom says about your sense of humor

“The Office”: You’re nice enough, but the majority of your humor probably comes from parroting other funny things you’ve heard. Sorry.

“Parks and Rec”: You are just the sweetest thing. Absolutely adorable. Dorky, but in a funny way that makes everybody fall in love with you.

“The Big Bang Theory”: You’re definitely a closet sexist. Misogyny from nerds — and as a joke — is still misogyny.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”: You’re a big dispenser of lowest-common-denominator humor, but that doesn’t mean you’re not fun.

“Schitt’s Creek”: Your sense of humor is pretty dry, so people either think you’re the meanest person they’ve ever met, or you’re super weird.

“New Girl”: You can make literally everybody laugh. Your references and total unabashedness make you both hilarious and — at times — a bit humiliating to be around.

“That ‘70s Show”: You’re classy, but you’re not the best at reading the room. Can usually get a good chorus of laughter, but some of your jokes are a little… dated.

“The Good Place”: Your existential nihilism and deadpan honesty make you one of the funniest people to be around. You’re funny without trying to be.

“How I Met Your Mother”: You are in the middle of “The Big Bang Theory” and “That ‘70s Show” humor Venn diagram (see above).

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”: You are a master at making people feel like they are part of an inside joke. To quote “Tangled,” you are “grotesquely optimistic” in the funniest way.
