Women’s basketball defeats Denver

The Utah State women’s basketball team extended their win streak to two games on Saturday. The Aggies hosted Denver University at the Spectrum and came away with an 85-69 victory.

Senior Devyn Christensen stole the show with 23 points in the first half. She finished with 25 points. Senior Jennifer Schlott chipped in with 15 points and nine assists.

The Pioneers’ leading scorer was Michaela Neuhaus with 18 points to go along with six rebounds.

With the win, the Aggies improve their record to 8-10 and 5-2 in conference play.

USU’s next game will be on the road against UT Arlington on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m.
