Women’s basketball wins third in a row

The Utah State women’s basketball team was back in action Thursday night when they took on UT Arlington on the road. The Aggies came away with the win 93-83 behind strong performances from three of their stars.

Senior Devyn Christensen scored a game high 21 points to with her seven assists and six steals. Fellow Senior Jenna Johnson had 16 points and nine rebounds. Not to be outdone, junior Franny Vaaulu chipped in with 18 points and seven boards.

With the win, the Aggies tie their season high with three wins in a row. USU improves its record to 8-10 and is 5-2 within the conference.

The Aggies next game will be Saturday when they travel to Louisiana Tech to the on the Lady Techsters. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. local-time tipoff.
