Activities at Eccles Ice Arena

Eccles Ice Center Skating and Hockey Programs The Eccles Ice Center is now accepting registration for August hockey and figure skating programs. These programs are available for all ages and abilities and, with the exception of general public skating, include skate rentals. Rental hockey equipment is also available for programs that require safety gear.

GENERAL PUBLIC SKATING July 24-September 3: Monday – Friday 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Saturday 1:30-3:30 p.m. Evening skating times vary. For information call 787-2288 or visit our website. Everyone is welcome to skate at these sessions. Bring your family, friends or a date. Cost is $4 for adults, $3 for children eight and younger and seniors 55 and over, plus $1.50 skate rental. LEARN TO SKATE CLASSESAug 29-October 7: Tuesday, Thursday (4:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.) or Sat (3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.). Six-week session for $45 including badge and skate rental. All ages, all abilities. Hockey classes are available on Tuesday and Thursday. Register 24 hours or more in advance to avoid a $5 late fee. A 10 % discount is available for additional family members who register at the same time. USU HOCKEY CAMPAugust 7-11: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; $175 per person, includes lunch with USU hockey players and coaches. For ages 15 and under. HOCKEY 101July 29 and August 5: Saturday only, 4:45-5:45 p.m. Adult and Youth, ages 5 and older: $9.00 per session. Students will learn fundamentals of the game of hockey, including basic techniques with some scrimmaging. Rental equipment is available.
