Family Story Hour at USU

Two programs at Utah State University have teamed to provided a summer activity for the whole family.

The Museum of Anthropology and the department of theatre combine resources and talents for a family story hour to be held on a series of Wednesday afternoons during late June and through July.

Organizers invite everyone to the story hour that is billed as a fun-filled hour of folktales, legends, myths and stories from around the world. The Museum of Anthropology, Old Main room 225, is the site of the storytelling sessions, and students from David Sidwell’s storytelling class in the department of theatre are the featured presenters.

Dates for family story hour are June 30 and July 7, 14, 21 and 28. Sessions run from 1:30-2:20 p.m. and are free to all. The public is encouraged to participate.

Free parking is located at the bottom of Old Main Hill on 700 East, or paid parking is available in the Utah State parking terrace located adjacent to the Taggart Student Center.
