OUR VIEW: Nominate a hero
Each year, faculty, staff and students at Utah State University accomplish exemplary tasks and impact the lives of those around them in amazing ways. However, sometimes those people are not be given the recognition they deserve.
From anonymously donating money to a great cause to bettering the lifestyle of students on campus, the possibilities are limitless.
Students often know who these people are but may not think about what could be done to recognize their efforts. But there is a way: The Robins Awards.
Each spring, the university takes the time to recognize these people through the nominations of students. Currently, ASUSU is taking nominations in the TSC and at the A-station Web site, but only until Friday.
There are six different awards that students can nominate people for including Man of the Year, Woman of the Year and Achievement of the Year. In addition, there are also awards such as Organization of the Year.
Take the time to really think about who deserves these awards. There are options all around us.
