Wellsville Mountain Magic Concert Series to present Utah Festival Youth Symphony & Orchestras

The Utah Festival Youth Symphony & Orchestras, having just returned from their performance tour back east where they played in Williamsburg Virginia and also for President W. Bush, is setting their sights on the American West Heritage Center as they make up the second in the Heritage Center’s “Wellsville Mountain Magic Concert Series.” The concert will take place at 7 pm on Friday July 20 at the Heritage Center on highway 89-91 in Wellsville.

“We are so honored that these talented performers are coming here!” exclaimed David Sidwell, Program Director at the Heritage Center. “They are only a couple of years old as an organization, yet they already have a national reputation. It’s really going to be a treat! It’s also a great prelude to our Pioneer Jubilee the following day.”

The Wellsville Mountain Magic Concert Series takes place in a field of cool grass with the majestic Wellsville Mountains as backdrop. There, a stage as been erected and audience seating has been established. Even though seating is provided, Sidwell encourages families to bring blankets on which to sit if they want to “sprawl out.” “This is how my family likes to do it: relax in a beautiful, rustic place and listen to good music.”
