Letter to the Editor: Conduct of Statesman is unacceptable

Dear Editor,

I am outraged at the filth found in the Statesman. How dare you subject students to a 3-inch, CARTOON women advertising lingerie in a college newspaper!! Also, in almost every other advertisement in the paper, I was able to rearrange some of the letters to form a swear word. How am I supposed to learn in this environment?! Unacceptable! What’s next, Statesman, a woman wearing a skirt that doesn’t cover her knees!? I would gladly pay 50 cents a copy for this newspaper if it meant that all advertisements, photographs, and words consisting of certain letters were destroyed forever! Thank You.
